Day 1, February 17
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi, where you will be met by Our Driver and transfer to Tamarind Tree Hotel (BB)
Day 2, February 18
Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve (45 minutes flight)
After breakfast we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Wilson Airport for your flight to Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will be met by our tour guide and transfer to your Camp. Game drive en route; Arrive for lunch followed by a late afternoon shared game drive until sunset. Meals and overnight at Mara Intrepid Tented Camp

Day 3, February 19
Maasai Mara National Reserve
An extra day spent in Mara with game activities organized by the camp. Note: You also have an optional early morning balloon ride at an extra cost. (Enjoy the thrill of gliding high above the impressive Masai Mara savannah while looking down at herds of elephants and zebras tottering beneath you. A champagne breakfast awaits you in the middle of the bush) All meals and overnight at Mara Intrepids Camp on full board basis (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner included)

Day 4, February 20
Amboseli National Park
You will be met by our representative. After a tour briefing, you will board the vehicle for a drive to Amboseli National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch before proceeding for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli National Park is famous for its scenery of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro as the backdrop to the vast open plains. We will depart for a game drive in the park in the afternoon and return for dinner and an overnight stay at Tortilis Camp.

Day 5, February 22
Another Day in Amboseli National Park, here you'll get to see the largest herds of elephants up close and other wildlife. Enjoy game drives, spectacular sunsets, and luxurious accommodations. The safari offers a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, leaving you with memories to last a lifetime. Tortilis Camp.
Day 6, February 23
 Amboseli - Kilimanjaro (via Nairobi)
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the Airport for your flight to Kilimanjaro.
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and after completing passport control, meet your private driver who will be transferring you to your accommodation in Arusha, a journey of approximately 90 minutes. Once you checked in, take the opportunity to unwind and appreciate the serene atmosphere in the shadow of Africa’s tallest mountain. Day 7, February 24
After morning breakfast, we will drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. This park has a diverse landscape, with nine vegetation zones. Ancient Baobab trees (the largest trees in Africa) dot the landscape dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River that meanders through the park attracts an abundance of wildlife, from elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, antelopes to a variety of colorful birds. Day 8, February 25
Continue with game drives in the morning in Tarangire National Park. Later afternoon we will drive to Lake Eyasi. Enjoy a relaxing evening at your beautiful camp before meeting and connecting with some of Tanzania most fascinating tribes - the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes Dinner camp and Overnight at Kisimangeda Tented Camp.

Day 9, February 26
Get up before sunrise and visit the Hadzabe Bushmen, one of the world’s last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes, and let them teach you all about their time-honored hunting techniques, survival skills, food preparation and cultural norms. You will get the chance to go on an exciting morning hunt with them! This is one of the most sensitive cultural encounters available in the world today. Afterwards, you will visit the Datoga Tribe. These pastoralists are also skilled blacksmiths who collect metal scrap, which they cleverly process into bracelets, arrowheads and knives. Here you will have the opportunity to visit one of the huts in the village where the women grind flour from corn, from which later bread is baked. Day 10, February 27
After breakfast, we descend into this magnificent crater, the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with picnic lunch. It shelters close to 30.000 animals including the Big Five. The crater teems with zebras, buffalos, lions, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs and a small population of the rare black rhino. The beautiful colors and dancing clouds make the crater almost surreal. Because of its natural beauty the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. Day 11 & 12, February 28 - March 1
you will make your way from the Ngorongoro Crater to the Southern Serengeti Spend three (3) full days in the Ndutu Plains of the Southern Serengeti and witness the Great Migration! Being in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will be able to drive off road - a great advantage for getting up close to Africa large mammals! There is so much to see - witness the Great Migration giving birth to thousands of calves, calves can run minutes after they are born and within 3 days, they are normally strong enough to keep up with the herd and the predators. The Ndutu region forms part of the northern section of Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stretches to the unfenced southern reaches of the Serengeti National Park, a meeting point between these two incredible wilderness areas. This section of the park is made up of rolling grasslands peppered with alkaline lakes that attract flocks of flamingos, as well as acacia trees Southern Serengeti Spend three (3) full days in the Ndutu Plains of the Southern Serengeti and witness the Great Migration!

arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Today you will be arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meeting with Troaa representative and being transferred to the Planet Lodge for a night to rest up after your long flight.
Day 2
Date : March 2, 2019
Orientation day
Orientation day This day is designed to give you plenty of time to relax, pack and recoup from the long flight. We will meet you later in the afternoon for a short running orientation. We will give you a running briefing and answer any questions you have about the course. We will also do an equipment check with each person to be sure that you are fully prepared.
